Pastor wale Aboderin, a pastor under the leadership of Bishop James Olalekan Oyelade of the Christian Church international has identified God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit as the source at which every one that desires victory must cling to.
He said this in his message during the first all Ibadan youth vigil of the church held on Friday at the headquarters in Ibadan.
Speaking on the topic : “The seed that wins” the man of God gave three other important things that a Christian who desires to win must understand. They are:
1. Of every seed, only one will win.
2. No matter how hard the situation, not every seed fails; one wins.
3. Anyone that wants to win must not loose focus.
“Christians are faced with certain battles in life which includes: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. Marital and career battles to mention a few are not excluded from the list.”
“It is important to note that Christians are not to be dominated, we are expected to win and dominate because this was God’s intention for man in the beginning.”
He highlighted identifying the destiny designer and turning away from all form of ungodliness as a tool for wining a battle.
Pointing at 1peter1:23, pastor Wale affirms that Jesus is the seed and without Him no one can have victory.
He however admonishes the youth to flee from friends who will not encourage their spiritual growth.
