I must confess, on many occasions I am afraid of an “average Nigerian Pastor”. While at work yesterday, I got more particular when a church was holding a prayer meeting from 9am to 12pm. I thought within myself, today is Monday… How will a church be holding Program on Mondays in the morning after the general Sunday Service.
I was more particular as I see them praying for financial provision, praying against every strong hold holding their glory from shinning. Oh! Who has bewitched us? Alas! We are in a generation that believes with Prayer, all your problems will be solved.
While, I am not condemning prayer or the Church. I feel we all should be enlightened to see the errors involved in what our Pastors tell us. Monday is known in Nigeria, if I don’t know of other places as the first day of work. I therefore expect we all go about our businesses.
Romans  12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; The Church needs to awake to God’s Word.

Ephesians  4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

I don’t want to go against a divine instruction for a special service but once it becomes a weekly service for members to meet in the early hours of work to fellowship. I am afraid. God will only rain manna from heaven when there is no other means for his Children to access provision.
Work! Don’t be lazy.

I hope this help someone
